Debabrata Bhattacharya - Khokon, as we call him, is associated with a reputed television channel , and has a rich experience in the medium. He is the latest entrant to our group.


Arundhati Chakraborty – an accomplished dancer, Aundhatidi runs her own dance school, and is also a dance teacher in one of the reputed schools in Kolkata. Not content with that, she has completed a data programming course, and is contemplating a career course change. She has been involved with the group for past 8 years. She has a son.
Gopal Ghosh – Gopalda is one of the rare individuals who enjoy working on the backstage rather than being in the limelight. He is a comparatively new member, having been with the group for about two years, but has become a very valuable one by virtue of his managerial acumen. He runs his own data processing business, and has two sons, who are both active members of the group.
Nabendu Sengupta – Nabendu is an artiste and sculptor by profession. He has had severalsolo and joint exhibitions, and is carving out a niche for himself in the art world. He has been with the group for 20 years now. He has a small son.

Jagori bandyopadhyay – Jagori has been with the group for 6 years, and has taken part in all the productions since then. She is a journalist by profession, and is working in the leading daily newspaper of the state.
Aritra Ghosh – A precocious eight year old, Aritra is the darling of the group. He has already been part of a play, and has done several stage shows in pantomime as well a number of television serials.


Ashesh Choudhury – He is Ramuda to all of us. Ashesh Choudhury has been with the group for 16 years now, and still going strong. He has played multi faceted roles in these 16 years, sometimes in the lead, sometimes as just a walk-on. And he has excelled in all. He is a government of India employee, a loving father to a daughter and a doting grandfather.



Ashim Sen - Ashimda runs a stationery shop, a printing press, and his own recitation school, and after all these – is an active member of the group for more than 18 years . He has been more active on the backstage, but has also acted in a couple of plays. He has a daughter.

Dhrubajyoti Das – Dhruba has been with the group for 6 years now. All this while he was gradually achieving his dream having a full time acting career. But during his days of struggle he never gave up his first passion, i.e. theatre. He has acted in almost all the plays that Theatron has staged since 2000. He is still unmarried.

Sripurna Choudhury – She is Chaitidi to all of us. Sripurna Choudhury has been with the group for 8 years now. Her acting prowess has won her many admirers in Kolkata theatre circle. She has been a very active member both on and off the stage. She has taught maths in one of the leading schools of Kolkata for 32 years, and is continuing to teach in another school after her retirement. Both her daughters have been inspired by her and they have interests in acting as well. One of them has recently completed a course from the Pune Film Institute. Chaitidi has recently become a grandmother.



Anita Roy – She is with the group for 16 years now. A physics graduate, she migrated to acting after graduation and completed a three year course from the Rabindrabharati University. She has taken up stage acting as her occupation, and also does television serials sometimes. She has a small daughter.



Amartya Ghosh – Amartya joined the group after attending a workshop organised by Theatron. He has recently completed his engineering diploma and has taken up a job in Delhi. So presently he is a member-in-absentia.


Abhijit Choudhury – He is one of the ancient members of the group. He has been with Theatron for 18 years now. He has acted in almost all the productions of the group, and been one of the chief movers on the backstage. He works in a manufacturing concern, and is still unmarried.
